The NBA has announced which players shoes were the most popular among their peers last regular-season.

Paul George ended up leading the NBA with 42 players rocking his “Nike PG 1” shoes.

Kyrie Irving took the second and third spots with his Nike Kyrie 3’s being worn by 32 players and the Nike Kyrie 4’s worn by 22.

Damian Lillard and Kevin Durant secured the fourth and fifth spot. The Adidas Dame 4 was worn by 21 players while the Nike KD 10’s were worn by 16.

The leagues two most popular players LeBron James and Stephen Curry rounded out the bottom. The Nike Soldier 11’s and the UA Curry 4’s we’re both worn by 14 players each.

This shows that the signature shoes that players have come up with are not only popular amongst fans, but their peers too.

Irving was the most impressive as he had two of his signature shoes in the top three.

San Antonio Spurs' Kawhi Leonard is reportedly at odds with Nike regarding his signature shoes and a new deal. Though his latest sneakers, Air Jordan 1 "Pass The Torch", have hit shelves and sold out fast.

What new sneakers could we see emerge as the most popular in the league for next season? Are there any players who could compete with these titans?
