Congratulations to San Antonio Spurs' DeMar DeRozan as he saw his USC Trojan jersey No. 10 be retired and raised to the rafter.
DeRozan also spoke to the crowd on hand to share his appreciation of the moment.
“These are the moments that we all should be able to enjoy, express, feel the love and be with the ones you love and care about.
In attendance for the ceremony was his current Spurs teammate and fellow USC alumni, Chimezie Metu, to congratulate DeRozan on the milestone.
Before the ceremony, DeRozan admitted he was nervous and was near speechless.
"I can't even express the words of evening just being mentioned of having my jersey retired. I'm excited, nervous. I haven't been nervous in I don't even know how long."
And to add more excitement, current USC players shared their well-wishes for DeRozan on his night.
DeRozan played one season with USC from 2008-09 before entering the NBA Draft.
With USC, he was named the PAC-10 Tournament MVP (2009) as well as named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team (2009).
DeRozan's 485 points ranks third all-time and his 201 rebounds is fourth all-time for a USC freshman.
