It's been a busy few days in San Antonio and surrounding areas, as the high school football playoffs continued this weekend.

The playoffs saw plenty of awe-inspiring plays, with many a game remaining close till the end and even an overtime thriller at the Alamodome.

We'll start with Judson, though, who was able to shut down Laredo United with a huge 69-21 win. The Rockets used Mike Chandler, Anthony Shelton and even a fake punt for a score. You can check out the highlights in our recap video.

Brandeis was able to hold off Edinburg Vela, winning 21-14 to move onto the next week.

The battle between Wagner and Harlan was an impressive one, too. Just check out this tackle.

Wagner began to pull away with a 15 point lead in the second half. But Harlan was able to battle its way back into the game, but couldn't come up on top in the end. Wagner ended up escpaing by the skin of its teeth, taking a 48-46 win and a spot in the regional finals.

There were some amazing highlights caught by our crew out there, you can view them below.

Here's Wagner coach Bruce after the win.

Also locally, Navarro moved on with a 31-22 win over Sinton, while Comfort came up short 28-6 against Bernard.

But in one of the most anticipated games of the season, Shiner fell short as well. Shiner and Refugio both battled it out Friday night, as each team came into the game without a loss.

For a majority of the game, it appeared Shiner would be the team out on top with a 31-14 lead after three quarters. But Refugio battled back fiercely, scoring 31 in the fourth for the 45-43 win.

Saturday continued the high school excitement, as Boerne Champion was able to hold off Boerne Champion 45-38. Here are some highlights.
