Spurs waive Chimezie Metu

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Spurs announced the team has waived forward Chimezie Metu.

Metu played two season with the Spurs spending the bulk of his career in the G League in Austin. He played sparingly in the Spurs restart in Florida and in total he played 47 games in San Antonio averaging 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds.

Metu was drafted by the Spurs in 2018 No. 49 overall.
