San Antonio Spurs fans will have the chance to bid for a good cause in honor of Tony Parker’s jersey retirement on Monday, Nov. 11 when the San Antonio Spurs and Silver & Black Give Back (SBGB) host a Tony Parker auction starting on Monday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. and closing on Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 p.m. CT. The auction will offer fans the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take a piece of Parker’s legacy home with them.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit military servicemembers and veterans through WISH for OUR HEROES and San Antonio’s youth through Silver & Black Give Back.

Exclusive items available through the auction include a signed 2003 NBA Championship jersey, a Parker-signed game photo, a signed French National Team jersey, an autographed Belinelli and Parker 2014 NBA All-Star Game basketball, 2014-15 TP9-1 shoes and more.

Bids can be placed by texting “tonyparker” to 52182 or https://e.givesmart.com/events/eJi/. Bid updates will be sent via text message and will also be available online at https://www.sbgb.org/.

Each of the items will be on display at the AT&T Center at Section 105 during the Spurs game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Nov. 11 when the Spurs legend’s jersey is unveiled in the rafters.

Parker will become the 10th player in Spurs franchise history to have his number raised to the rafters. In 17 seasons in San Antonio, Parker helped the Silver and Black capture four NBA championships and was named the 2007 NBA Finals MVP, becoming the first European Finals MVP in league history. The point guard from France was a four-time All-NBA performer (2009, 2012, 2013, 2014) and a six-time NBA All-Star (2006, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014) with the Spurs. Originally selected by San Antonio with the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2001 NBA Draft, Parker is the Spurs NBA leader in assists (6,829). He is one of four players in NBA history with 4,000+ points & 1,000+ assists in the playoffs, along with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James.
