The San Antonio Spurs (11-13) were defeated on the road by the Utah Jazz, 139-105. The loss marked the team's third 30-point loss in four games.

Jakob Poeltl led the way in scoring for the Spurs adding 20 points to his stat sheet. DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge each added 16 of their own.

Right out of the gates the Spurs found themselves down by 14 after the first quarter. Aldridge managed to score eight of his 16 points in this quarter, but failed to convert another quarter like this in the game.

The Spurs gave up 20 3-pointers to Utah in the contest with Donovan Mitchell hitting 4-6 of his own.

After the first half, the Spurs found their deficit of 16 and from then on it was not salvageable. Utah out-scored San Antonio 76-58 in the second half and shot a scorching 70 percent from the field.

The Jazz shot an impressive 60 percent from the field and 60 percent from the three-point line for the game en route to the blowout win.

The Spurs are back in action tomorrow as they face off against the Los Angeles Lakers.
