Spurs re-sign forward Drew Eubanks

SAN ANTONIO- The San Antonio Spurs are set to re-sign forward/center Drew Eubanks.

Eubanks is coming off his second season of a two-way contract with the Spurs after going undrafted in the 2018 draft. After playing 23 games in the 2018-19 season, Eubanks played in 22 and three starts this following season, averaging 4.9 points on 64% shooting, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks on 12.4 minutes per appearance.

According to a report, the new deal is for three years.

Eubanks, showed his value in the Orlando Bubble where he played all eight games off the bench, averaging seven points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks on 56% shooting on 17.7 minutes per game.

Along with improving his game, sources tell Spurs Zone that Eubanks is currently working on an outside shot that is becoming “consistent”.

The Spurs start the 2020-21 NBA Season on December 22nd.
