The NBA is celebrating Black History Month and prior to the San Antonio Spurs recent game versus Utah, Head Coach Gregg Popovich spoke on why it is important for the league to promote it.

Popovich hasn't been shy from speaking out on social issues when asked.

He's been very vocal on his thoughts on President Trump and even makes sure the players on the roster have their pulse on current world events.

There is more to life than the hardwood and Coach Pop makes everyone who'll listen quite aware of that.
