SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Spurs center Chimezie Metu has changed agents prior to NBA free agency as he is now represented by Darren Matsubara of the Wasserman Sports Agency according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

This comes as Metu is on a non-guaranteed contract with San Antonio going into the 2020-21 NBA season.

And with limited roster spots available for the Spurs, Metu might find himself looking for a new team if he does not show improvement immediately.

Note, he gets $500,000 guaranteed if not waived by August 1, 2020. His deal becomes fully guaranteed if the Spurs do not waive him by the team's first regular season game.
