The NBA Chief Communications Officer Mike Bass has released a statement on exploratory talks with Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida to resume the 2019-20 season in July.

This is another step in the direction of game play resuming.

The NBA has allowed teams to return to practice facilities under strict conditions and teams are expecting the NBA to instruct them to start recalling players to home markets around June 1 according to reports.

This statement from Bass does not state how the NBA will resume play. Will the league allow teams to finish their schedule? Go right into the playoffs?

The NBA shut down operations on March 11 when the coronavirus pandemic hit the league when Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus.

What say you San Antonio Spurs fans about this step towards the season resuming?
