San Antonio Spurs' Derrick White had himself a great Game 1 versus the Denver Nuggets to start their playoff series.

White finished Game 1 with 16 points, fives assists, and three rebounds. He shot 70 percent from the field and a key steal late in the game to seal the win for the Spurs.

He also had the dunk of the night when he jammed one on Paul Millsap that left the Pepsi Center in awe.

So what got into White to have himself a great game?

Maybe the source of his stellar night was due to him wearing the Spurs' 1990s "Fiesta" color warmup jacket before tip-off.

Check it out:

As for his dunk that rocked the opening night of the 2019 NBA Playoffs, it was just White doing what he does best - attacking the rim.

“I was just pushing in and nobody stopped the ball so I just attacked and tried to make a play at the rim," said White about his dunk. "I seen him (Millsap) at the rim and just thought I try to him.”
