Here's a look at the Spurs' 2019-20 schedule

The NBA released the full 2019-20 San Antonio Spurs season schedule and here are a few highlight worthy dates for all fans to circle in their calendar.

Opening night:

The Spurs will open their slate of games at home with a visit by the Knicks on Oct. 23. Considering what happened in the offseason with Marcus Morris reneging on the Spurs and its ripple effects (Spurs trading Davis Bertans to clear room for Morris), how the fans will receive Morris will be something to watch for.

The Spurs will then have two more home games against Washington and Portland before their first road game of the season.

First road game:

Fitting the first road game (and on Halloween) be against former Spur Kawhi Leonard and the new-look Clippers in L.A. on Oct. 31.

Rodeo Road Trip:

The annual road trip will be grueling. Beginning on Feb. 3-23, 2020, the Spurs will face the Clippers, Lakers, Blazers, Kings, Nuggets, Thunder and the Jazz in that order.

Home Games to Circle:

Clippers - Former Spur Kawhi Leonard is now with the Clippers and he will bring with him Paul George to San Antonio on Nov. 29 and again on Dec. 02.

Lakers - Former Spur Danny Green, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis will make two stops in San Antonio on Nov. 3 and Nov. 25.

Raptors - The NBA defending champs Toronto Raptors come to San Antonio on Jan. 26, 2020 for their lone visit to San Antonio.

Wizards - On Oct. 25, 2019, Ex-Spur Davis Bertans will make his only visit to San Antonio after getting traded to Washington in the offseason. Recall the Spurs made the move for Knicks' Morris only to have him renege on the Spurs.

Warriors - Golden State will come to San Antonio on Dec. 31 and on April 3, 2020. Can the Warriors remain one of the top teams in the league after losing Kevin Durant in the offseason and will miss Klay Thompson for some time in the new season?

Hawks - When Atlanta comes to San Antonio for its only visit, it will mark the last time NBA great Vince Carter will play in San Antonio.

Pelicans - Davis is out but in is Zion Williamson. San Antonio won't see the new kid in the NBA block until late in the season on April 5 and 15th (which will close the regular-season).

Rockets - James Harden and Russell Westbrook make two visits to San Antonio on Dec. 3 2019 and on April 12, 2020. Should be big battles in the Lone Star State.

Longest Home Stand:

Spurs longest homestand will be from March 10-16 and will host Dallas, Denver, Minnesota, and Memphis in that order.

The Spurs will also have 12 national televised games. Their lowest in recent seasons. The team will also have nine back-to-back sets in the season.
