Fredericksburg battles Boerne in the 2020 debut of Thursday Night Lights

SAN ANTONIO - We are less than a week away from our first Thursday Night Lights game of the season, and it starts with a great one - Boerne vs. Fredericksburg.

Boerne dual-threat QB Rashawn Galloway has already thrown for 10 touchdowns this season and ran for another four, while totally 1,035 combined yards for the Greyhounds.

Boerne (3-1) is coming off its first loss of the season, losing 40-35 at home to Sweetwater.

Cole Immel is also doing some damage of his own for Fredericksburg.

The junior quarterback has thrown for seven touchdowns and racked up six more on the ground in leading the Billies to a 3-1 record.

Fredericksburg are also coming off its first loss of the season, when they dropped a 21-20 heartbreaker on the road at Wimberley.
