Another day and another Kawhi Leonard report.
This time courtesy of Fox Sports' Chris Carter.
The co-host of Fox Sports' "First Things First," was discussing the situation with Kawhi and the San Antonio Spurs. During his comments, he mentioned that he knows exactly what Head Coach Gregg Popovich said to Leonard.
And according to Carter, Pop is all about making Kawhi happy.
"Kawhi in meeting with Pop, Pop gave him every indication that he was going to trade him and he was going to try to make Kawhi happy."
Making Kawhi happy would be to give in to Kawhi's request to be traded to Los Angeles, either the Lakers or Clippers.
However, finding a trade partner has proven difficult for the Spurs.
Reportedly San Antonio wants plenty in return for Leonard and teams reportedly in the mix (Sixers, Celtics, Lakers) aren't willing to give up much considering he'll be an unrestricted free agent after next season.
Then it can be an all out bidding war without having to sacrifice or gut their roster.
