San Antonio Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge did not have himself a great performance in Game 2 of the West Finals.
With star Kawhi Leonard out of action (ankle injury) many looked at Aldridge to step up and lead the Spurs on the floor. Instead, he had a dismal 4-11 shooting night, snagged 4 rebounds, had 3 turnovers, and finished with 8 points in 26 minutes of action. Not what you want to see out of a player the Spurs chased two summers ago and opened the vault for him to sign with the team.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich even used words such as "timid" and "he's got to do it" when describing the lackluster play from LaMarcus in Game 2.
And it got worse for LaMarcus as former Spur Tracy McGrady took in the game and piled on Aldridge's poor outing calling him out during the game.
Check it out at the 22 second point of the video below.
Game 3 is set for this Saturday and hopefully Aldridge will have some soul-searching and rebound from his poor play in Game 2.
