For the first time since the pandemic temporarily shut down the San Antonio Spurs 2019-20 season, the team got together for the first time on the court at the Orlando "bubble" campus.
The team arrived at the "bubble" at Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando Friday. They spent the first 36-48 hours quarantined in their individual rooms.
"There hasn't been a first 'together'," Gregg Popovich said about the team being apart during the pandemic. "Our first 'together' is later this afternoon."
Saturday afternoon, the team was finally together after several months physically apart.
Here is the team's first practice out in Orlando where Popovich was properly masked as was coach Becky Hammon. DeMar DeRozan is seen greeting his teammates while the players looked happy to return to the court.
