SAN ANTONIO - They have arrived.
San Antonio has a big time college football team, and the UTSA Road Runners deserve a big crowd at home in the dome on Saturday after last weekend's victory over Baylor.
The Roadrunners (1-0) were confident they could beat both Houston and Baylor, but they didn't get a chance to play the Cougars. So, they are anxious to show San Antonio what they've got.
The UTSA defense was stellar in last week's win against Baylor. The Roadrunners held the Bears to just 274 total yards and their lowest point total since a 44-10 loss to TCU in 2010.
UTSA has held its last three opponents to less than 300 yards of offense.
They will be highly favored over Southern, but Southern does bring its own draw - the best halftime show in the world.
Let's pack the dome. Southern and UTSA kicks off at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
