Spurs Sports & Entertainment and the nonpartisan nonprofit MOVE Texas are making registering to vote safe, simple and quick with a September 15 voter registration event at the AT&T Center.
The event will be drive-thru and will happen from 6-8 p.m. in Lot 3 at the arena. It is also free and open to the public, regardless of voter status or eligibility. For more information, visit spurs.com/vote2020.
Future voters are asked to go to MOVETexas.org/register before the event and find out if they are eligible to vote in the next election. The deadline to register for the upcoming November elections is October 5.
The MOVE Texas voter registration event at the AT&T Center will let future voters stay in their cars at a safe distance as they talk with educated voting professionals who will help them through the voter registration process.
The Coyote is going to be there and a limited edition San Antonio Spurs-branded “VOTE” t-shirt will have proceeds going to MOVE Texas.
After voter’s registration, those attending can park in Lot 2 for photo opportunities and purchase merchandise. Attendees must wear a face covering, however, if they choose to participate in the activities.
