Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball got a first-hand look at one of the best ever to play in the NBA - San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili - during their recent game versus the Spurs and was left in awe.
Ball was asked about competing against Manu and summed up his experience as "crazy" playing against him on the court.
“It’s crazy,” Ball said to USA Today. “We were watching tape on [Ginobili]. He’s still doing the Eurosteps, getting in the lane. At his age, it’s amazing.
Ginobili chipped in with eight points off the bench in the Spurs' loss to the Lakers. Through 35 games played this season, he's posting 9.3 points off 45-percent shooting in 21 minutes per game.
And it's not just Lonzo who's recognizing Manu still being Manu at 40 years old.
In the latest fan voting for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game in L.A., Ginobili has received 657, 827 fan votes, placing him fifth among West guards.
This was Lonzo's first game versus Ginobili and the Spurs this season so there will be another game for the rookie to be amazed by "Grandpa Juice."
