SAN ANTONIO - Many NFL teams are starting up their rookie camps, and nobody is more excited to get going than former Judson and UTSA star Jarveon Williams.
Williams signed a free agent deal with the Cincinnati Bengals immediately following last week's draft.
His agent, David McNeil, said there were a dozen teams trying to sign him after the draft, and close to being taken during the selection process.
Williams was a four-year starter for the Roadrunners. In 2016, he rushed for 900 yards and eight touchdowns, while the previous season, Williams rushed for 1,039 yards and eight touchdowns with a 6.0 yards per carry average.
He wasn't exactly sure what would happen on Draft Day, but is super excited to get his shot playing pro ball.
