After LaMarcus Aldridge’s historic night (56 points) that lifted the San Antonio Spurs over the Oklahoma City Thunder after two overtimes, Derrick White took to Instagram to share his praise for the big mans 56 point outing.
Aldridge took over the game in the second half including scoring 12-straight points for the Spurs en route to the win.
His performance left White in awe and he summed up his feelings with two words.
This wasn’t the only thing White had to say.
After the game, White knew simply feeding Aldridge the ball was the obvious choice versus the Thunder.
When asked if he had ever been a part of a game to witness the scoring outburst like Aldridge had, White just admitted he was enjoying the ride.
White was also able to contribute to the win himself. He finished with 23 points, five rebounds and eight assists on the night doing his part to secure the win.
Aldridge became seventh player with 50-plus points in a game in Spurs history. Not only was it one for the Spurs' records, it was also his personal career-high in points.
