Ex-San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green has played with some of the greatest players in the NBA.
He's played with LeBron James in Cleveland and Los Angeles, Kawhi Leonard in Toronto and Tim Duncan with the Spurs. He's also racked up a title with Duncan in 2014.
Green has definitely been fortunate to play with the best but which stand out to him?
Green was a guest on "WYD?" with Ros Gold-Onwude and spoke about playing with Duncan and James.
Timmy was amazing. Outside of LeBron (James), he's the greatest teammate I've ever had. Him and LeBron are right there. I have fun playing with LeBron, don't get me wrong, but it's just two different types of players. With (LeBron), he has the ball more so he's going to score more and he facilitates the action. Timmy was more... I'm going to set screens for you, I'm going to rebound for you, I'm going to find you.
But Timmy, an underrated passer, underrated defender. So, he always helped me a ton on defense. I can guard guys a little bit tougher from the perimeter because I know I have Timmy behind me who is going to make me look good.
You just don't realize he's the greatest power forward of all-time because of the way he played that way. He played like he was a role player.
Him (James) and Timmy because they are the greatest at what they do.
Green definitely has been surrounded by greatness in his NBA career.
The Lakers are the heavy favorites to win the 2019-20 NBA title whenever the season resumes. If the Lakers do win the title, Green would win a title with both James and Duncan.
Green played with Duncan from 2011-18 until he was traded to Toronto in 2018.
