On May 14-15, the ninth-annual G-League Elite Mini Camp will be held in Chicago.

The event is a two-day scouting event for players to showcase their talents before their peers and NBA scouts

And at the event is Austin Spurs' G League Finals MVP - Nick Johnson.

The NBA G League’s ninth-annual Elite Mini Camp will tip off on May 14. The event held in Chicago’s Quest Multisport gym is a two-day scouting event featuring some of the NBA G League’s top prospects. About 40 players are scheduled to attend.
Before the NBA Draft’s top prospects meet later in the week, the NBA G League’s camp offers standouts from this past season another chance to showcase their talents in front of NBA team personnel, before NBA Summer League and 2018 training camps.

Johnson helped lead the San Antonio Spurs G League affiliate team to their second G-League title after sweeping the Toronto 905 in two games.

One notable player in the past that took advantage of the mini camp, former Spurs and Orlando Magic forward Jonathon Simmons.

What say you Spurs fans? Should San Antonio give Johnson a shot at making the roster? A Summer League invite? Let me know at @MichaelRehome.
