A local family in Palm Beach County takes in unwanted exotic animals to prevent species from becoming invasive.

While there are many great groups who take in dogs and cats, Wild Cargo Pets Inc., is one of the only organizations in the area that accepts exotic animals.

Last year alone, Wild Cargo Pets took in 1200 animals. It works with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission for special permits as well as local humane societies to ensure proper care for all animals.

To visit the store, it is located at 310 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida.

To contact the store, call 561-687-5055 or email wildcargopetsinc@gmail.com.
