A man who vandalized a church in central El Paso earlier this week was rebooked into jail, police said.

Isaiah Cantrell, 30, was rebooked into the El Paso County Detention Center Friday morning.

Police said he was arrested on charges unrelated to the St, Patrick church vandalism.

Cantrell was charged with two counts of theft after an investigation revealed that he was responsible for the theft of a President Trump campaign sign and a Thin Blue Line flag from the yard of a home in central El Paso, each on separate occasions, police said.

The alleged thefts happened on August 26 and August 28.
