Students in San Antonio are taking a stand against bullying by taking part in National Unity Day.

Students at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School formed a giant orange cross inside the church to show solidarity against bullying.

School leaders say these children are taught the importance of showing respect and speaking up when they see another child being bullied.

"About teasing, about bullying, about standing up for one another," says Sylvia Gonzalez Bogran, a counselor at the school.

St. Gregory the Great is one of 38 Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of San Antonio participating in similar events for National Unity Day.
