Man charged with arson, attempted murder: Police

Police arrested a man in connection with a house fire that left a woman hospitalized on Friday.

According to West Palm Beach police, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested 26-year-old Trevonte Adderly around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Police say the arrest was made in connection with a residential house fire on Shelley Road South.

Police say they obtained a warrant for Adderly's arrest overnight. Adderly is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree arson and aggravated battery on a person over the age of 65.

Police say Adderly was arrested without incident in Riviera Beach and was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail.

Adderly is expected to make his first appearance in front of a judge on Sunday.
