AMBER Alert for missing infant canceled

The AMBER Alert for a missing 1-month-old baby girl was canceled Sunday morning.

According to DPS, the search for Christilynn McGowen was called off around 4:45 a.m.

The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office believed she was abducted Saturday evening by Jartiesh Marie Lewis.

Authorities did not say what led to the cancellation or whether Lewis was located.

An AMBER Alert was issued for a missing one-month-old infant.

Christilynn McGowen was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Coldspring, Texas, east of Huntsville.

The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office believes she was abducted by Jartiesh Marie Lewis, 35.

McGowen has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink onesie.

Lewis is a black female, 5'4", 210 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes and a tatoo on her neck. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black Nike shorts and furry red flip flops.

Lewis is believed to be driving a white, 2016 Nissan Sentra with an unknown Texas license plate.
