Abilene police release video of man who hid camera in women's restroom at Whataburger

The Abilene Police Department has released surveillance video of the man wanted for hiding a camera in the women's restroom at Whataburger.

The camera was discovered Friday afternoon by a woman using the restroom at the location on South 1st Street.

"When I flushed the toilet, I noticed an unusual small circle under the rim of the toilet lid," the victim -- who does not want to be identified -- said. "I looked closer and realized it was a camera lens!"

You can see in the video that the suspect ordered food. You can also see him install the camera on the toilet tank.

He has a thin build and tattoos on his left arm. He was wearing a dirty white tank top and khaki pants.

"He should be easily identifiable to anyone who knows him thanks to this surveillance video. He needs to be stopped!" police said.
